The Indianapolis Colts have ruined Andrew Luck

Reports have come out of Indianapolis the past couple of days that Andrew Luck has a had a setback with his shoulder injury rehab. Head Coach Chuck Pagano saying he cannot confirm Luck will play this season. This is turning into one of the greatest What If? stories of all time. From the moment he stepped into the league the talent was apparent, the year before drafting Luck the Colts went 2-14 with Peyton Manning out for the year. The Colts then made the 100% correct decision to release Manning and draft Luck who for years had been hyped as football’s next generational talent maybe the most hyped QB since Manning himself. In Luck’s first three years the went from 2-14 to in the playoffs losing Wild Card Weekend to the Baltimore Ravens who went on to win the Super Bowl in 2012, the next year they won the Wild Card game and lost Divisional Weekend to the New England Patriots, the next year they win Wild Card Weekend, then go on the road Divisional Weekend and beat Manning and the Denver Broncos, before they lose to the Patriots again in the infamous Deflategate game again the eventually Super Bowl Champions.

When I say the Colts have ruined him I mean this throughout his career the Colts have ranked near the bottom of the league in terms of Offensive Line play. The only other good players he had had on that team are WR T.Y. Hilton and Kicker Adam Vinaterri. Let’s go over the Colts 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks

1st Round
2013: Bjorn Werner (he is already retired)
2014: (Traded Pick for Trent Richardson, let me repeat that they traded a 1ST ROUND PICK FOR TRENT RICHARDSON)
2015: Phillip Dorsett (Traded to the New England Patriots for Jacoby Brissett)
2016: Ryan Kelly (Currently Injured)
2017: Malik Hooker (He’s healthy and on the team)

2nd Round
2012: Coby Fleener (Signed with New Orleans Saints after Rookie Deal was up)
2013: Traded to Miami Dolphins for Vontae Davis
2014: Jake Mewhort
2015: Traded to Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2016: T.J. Green
2017: Quincy Wilson

3rd Round
2012: Dwayne Allen (Traded to the New England Patriots)
2012: T.Y. Hilton
2013: Hugh Thornton
2014: Donte Moncrief
2015: D’Joun Smith
2015: Henry Anderson
2016: Le’Raven Clark
2017: Tarell Basham

That’s what this team has put around Luck, that has got him destroyed and might have ruined his career. This is what happens when a pill-popping cheap owner like Jim Irsay gives you Ryan Grigson and Chuck Pagano has GM and Coach.
